![]() The highest puzzle count (that I know of) is 523 + 135 +6 As an aside, doing this final challenge DOES give you a way to reset the gate at the game's beginning, meaning you can accomplish everything on one save file - that puzzle isn't missable after all. In this cave system are the audio logs that actually explain the island's story somewhat, as well as the final challenge achievement. Access the caves by descending deeper into the mountain after activating 11 lasers and looking at the bottom of the mountaintop box. Find the hidden credits room at the starting area + trippy FMV of sick man. 7 lasers, descend down the mountain, get in the elevator, game resets. There are three 'endings' (that I know of) Let's break down what there is to uncover in Witness's Endgame: OP is assuming some people know some things they might not know. Does finishing all 11 lasers unlock anything? Can you access the rest of the caverns in the secret hotel area?ģ. Where are the rest of the vaults that unlock videos under the windmill?Ģ. What's the point of that small puzzle before you get into the FMV cutscene? Does that impact anything? (The one with the 2 pair, 4 blacks and 4 whites).ġ. Who is the person we see the video from?ģ. So my questions are(although I know there aren't answers to everything):ġ. Looked online, and there also seems to be another version of that video, but the person is healthy/not using an IV. Thank god we now know that the pee jug was just a prop. Saw the credits via audio, then saw the cutscene with the man on IV walking out to his garden. Then I discovered the secret room that was right in front of you the entire fucking time from the beginning. So I beat the endgame, had "fly over the entire island" segment, and had everything reset, which sorta bummed me out, but I figured that was the short meditative experience. This topic will cover general musings of the island and it's greater significance. If you want puzzle tips, check out the OT. ![]() Try re-solving the puzzles above (the correct solution should still be there so just re-input it) and see if it lights up the one below again.THIS IS A SPOILER TOPIC: STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVEN'T BEAT THE GAME/FINISHED THE ENDGAME OR WANT TO DISCOVER ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING BY YOURSELF I'm not sure, but that might be what happened to you here. I've seen a lot of people complain about this, but it's there to prevent you from brute-forcing puzzles by just continuously guessing until you get it right. It could be that you touched it and it shut down because you guessed an incorrect input in many puzzle chains in the game (for example, Puzzle A unlocks Puzzle B, which unlocks Puzzle C, etc.), getting Puzzle B incorrect will force you to have to re-solve Puzzle A to light Puzzle B back up. ![]() Am I just not getting the puzzle or did something break? I haven't been able to light it up again. Now, I could have sworn that the screen just below all these was lit up when I first came here. I can unlock the middle one, but then I am completely stuck. I'm looking at three screens up high (at slightly different angles) with hex-puzzles that open up shutters on a puzzle below. Anyone want to confirm that a puzzle isn't broken? So I'm pretty far into the game (359 +39 whatever that means, with no hints so far), but this place keeps giving me trouble. ![]()
